UFI Filters
UFI Filters USA has recalled fuel filters manufactured between March 11 and April 27, 2010 because of a design defect in the quick connector. The connector can leak gasoline and aside from preventing engine ignition, can lead to a fire. If the vehicle is in motion and the engine suddenly loses its fuel supply, the engine will stop, resulting in the loss of power steering and brakes and possibly resulting in a crash. The fuel filters were sold under the Purolator brand, part number F65277. For further information, contact UFI Filters USA at 1-888-787-1740.
Nissan
Nissan is recalling certain left and front control links due to defective welding. The links are identified as part numbers 54501ZQ00A, 54500ZQ00A, 551A1ZQ00A, 551A0Q00A, 54501EA00A, 54500EA00A, 551A1EA500, 551A0EA500, 54501ZR00A, 54500ZR00A. The links were sold as replacement parts for 2004-2010 Titan, Armada, and QX56 and 2005-2010 Frontier, Xterra, and Pathfinder vehicles. The weld does not meet strength requirements and if failure occurs while the vehicle is in transit, loss of control and eventual crash can result.
