Product Information Bulletin
                                                                                                February  2012

General Motors has issued a product information bulletin for the following vehicles: 2008-2012 Buick Enclave, 2009-2012 Chevrolet Traverse, 2007-2012 GMC Acadia, and 2007-2010 Saturn Outlook. The bulletin was released on February 1, 2012 and is identified as PIT4574F. The problem with these vehicles is that some owners might experience an intermittent cranking problem when the vehicle is parked on an incline. In addition, some owners have experienced a start and then stall when parked on an incline and the fuel tank contains less than an 1/8 of a tank of fuel. It has been determined that the fuel module is not submerged in fuel at all times. For 2009-2012 vehicles, the fuel pump assembly must be replaced with p/n 22833390 and for 2007-2008 vehicles, the fuel pump assembly with p/n 19259370. This is not a recall at this time. As a result vehicle owners might have to pay for the replacement. Owners should check with their dealers for details.
