The gas grills were sold under the Perfect Flame brand name, SLG series, at Lowe's retail stores nationwide. The grills were recalled due to the deterioration of the gas burners producing an irregular flame and subsequent burn and fire hazard to consumers. In addition, the lid can ignite further contributing to the hazard. The models that are involved in this recall are: SLG2006B, SLG2006BN, SLG2006C, SLG2006CN, SLG2007A, SLG2007B, SLG2007BN, SLG2007D, SLG2007DN,  and SLG2008A. For additional information and to see a picture of one of the units involved, please click on the following link: http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml10/10043.html

Tube Yokes -

Dana Holding Corporation has announced the recall of 32560 tube yokes used in the assembly of vehicle driveshafts. The defective driveshafts have been identified as having been used in certain Ford, Nissan, and Toyota vehicles. The problem with the yokes is that cracks have been found on the yoke lug ears. The cracks can cause driveshaft failure and increases the risk of a vehicle crash. Dana is currently working with vehicle manufacturers to assist in determining vehicle specific remedies. For further information, contact the National Highway Safety Administration at 1-888-327-4236 or go to http://www.safercar.gov
